Building Enclosure Commissioning : A Panel Discussion

Detailing and commissioning of the exterior building enclosure are critical to the long term performance and operational expense of a new building. Our September educational seminar consists of a panel moderated by Brian Neely, Project Architect with Gale Associates, Inc, and consisting of David Berkowitz, Assistant Director of Design with the Division of Capital Asset Management, Kevin Knight, Director Building Envelope Commissioning at Architectural testing, Inc, and Wagdy Anis, Principal at Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc. The panel will discuss their recent experience and best practices to achieve both the owners and architects goals. Topics will include the need to begin the commissioning process as early as the schematic design phase, detailing, mock-ups, and field testing and inspections. This presentation will provide one CEU or AIA credit. The presentation will begin at 7:30, we will host our usual networking session and dinner before the presentation beginning at 5:30. - There is no cost for this event for members of the Boston Chapter. - Guests are $60 if attending the networking or dinner part of the evening. - The program, starting at 7:30, is free for guests or members. Tabletops are available at the following prices: - $50 for CSI members who advertise with us - $100 for CSI members - $210 for non-members (includes one dinner)
